Settled – involving a 43 year old pedestrian who while traversing sidewalk was caused to trip and fall due to a defective raised cellar doors on sidewalk. As a result of the fall, the plaintiff suffered multiple injuries including single level lumbar fusion surgery and left knee surgery. Case was venued in Queens County and settled prior to jury selection.
